Providing safe, reliable and affordable fresh water.
On the African island of Madagascar, 11 million people still do not have access to clean water resources. About 85 % of the population lives in remote communities. Efoetsy is one of these communities. Elemental Water Foundation is a certified NGO with the goal to help people that need it most. The NGO together with its local partner Trans Mad and the support of private sector donations, successfully raised the funds required for the installation of the solar-powered desalination system. After the realization of the water project with the Elemental Water Foundation, Efoetsy has now access to 15,000 liters of clean water every day.

”It’s obvious that our community was faced with a great problem on finding sweet water and nobody wanted to live in this village before. But thanks to the desalinization no one suffers too much nowadays, the people are fulfilled and delighted. To conclude I can say that the people here are satisfied with the water project and wish a good continuation if it. All my colleagues and the community here would like to thank you for having installed the desalinization here.”
