Update of recent and coming activities.
First of all, we have been selected for the prestigious award of Oxfam Novib, named after Simon Jelsma. This is a great honour. Furthermore, a business case based upon our activities has been developed in cooperation with the BCG to provide the finalist of academic talent game ‘Best Graduates’ a challenging final. We are keen to learn more on their ideas during their presentations at the end of May.In the meanwhile, Noortje Dekkers has been researching the market opportunities on Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao. On her scooter she has been exploring the different islands and has been interviewing all stakeholders in the water and energy sector.Last but not least, Elemental Water Makers will be visiting Israel near the end of May. Israel is increasingly relying on desalination to provide its water supply and is a world lead in the water technologies market, which provides the right ingredients for a fruitful visit. We are looking forward to this business trip, which has been made possible by Climate-KIC.
