Let’s treat our water the way it deserves.
As global water scarcity is on the rise, the implementation of desalination follows. Currently, the global installed desalination capacity exceeds 100 million m³/day, which supplies over 300 million people with clean water, as well as many industries & other water users.
Because desalination is an energy-intensive process and fossil-fuels are used to provide this energy, it leads to the acceleration of climate change, causing more droughts. This is not the way to go!
That’s why Elemental Water Makers sets the new standard since 2012 by:
– using much less energy to desalinate seawater
– integrating renewable energy such as solar
There’s actually much more we do to realize the SDGs. Sustainability is at the core of our values and can go hand in hand with savings. Take a look here.
We are proud to provide you with the update that 2020, despite COVID-19, has been booming and tell you a bit more about the 10 projects that we are currently commissioning globally.
Join the clean water revolution.
Reliable access to clean affordable water is more important than ever. Resorts are using these unconventional times to improve their water supply by cutting their operational expenditure. We are executing several projects in the Caribbean & East Africa for small boutique hotels and 4-star luxury resorts.
As the first line of defense against COVID-19, clean drinking water and hygiene is essential. In close cooperation with several global NGO’s, foundations, and non-profits, we are constructing off-grid solar-powered drinking water projects for communities in Africa and Asia.
For many industries, the risk of running out of water has increased over time, while the water bills went up and up. We are providing independence and savings for industries in both Africa and Asia.
