AWARDED WITH KNW PRIZE

During the annual conres of the KNW (Royal Dutch Waternetwork), which was held at the 30th of November in Baarn, the winner of the 7th Waternetwork thesis prize for young professionals was announced. The winners are Sid Vollebregt and Reinoud Feenstra, with their thesis about the design, implementation and evaluation of an innovative renewable driven desalination system for decentralized drinking water production of the University of Technology in Delft.The judging panel judged unanimous that their thesis scored equally high on all criteria (novely, relevance and quality). KNW aims at stimulation for students and young professionals with a background in water related studies at universities and high schools. The winners will receive a cash prize, a publication and a unique chance to network within the sector. Click here to read the press release.
