The Climate-KIC Incubation Programme supports entrepreneurs to develop their clean tech venture in three stages. Elemental Water Makers has been allowed into stage 1.Stage 1 - Help entrepreneurs translate inventions into business plans.Open to motivated entrepreneurs with an innovative business idea and/or proof of breakthrough technology that has a substantial climate impact. You deliver a prototype or demo, industry feedback, a team competence assessment and a basic business plan in place including IP.

Stage 2 - Help entrepreneurs translate business plans into concrete value propositions.This stage is open to teams with a business plan, with a prototype or demo, substantial industry and user references and management team in place. You deliver a detailed business plan including a business model that has been tested with potential customers, you have a HR & recruitment strategy and an investor presentation.

Stage 3 - Help Entrepreneurs translate value propositions into fundable business propositions The last stage of the Incubation Programme is open to startups with a detailed business plan and model, early customers and partners identified and the startup is incorporated (or in process). You deliver a Proof-of-concept, with manufacturing and distribution partnerships in place, IP is secured, there is a launching customer and there is investor feedback.

The duration of our suppport is 3-6 months for each of the stages, depending on the development path of the startup.
