Come and taste freshly desalinated seawater at our headquarters in the harbour of Scheveningen! Right next to our office and the water, we have installed our Elemental Water Source™, a small-scale solar desalination system. It is the heart of our development department, where our engineers are continuously testing new concepts and technologies which will later be applied on a global scale.
The solar-powered desalination system desalinates the harbour water and makes it safely drinkable. It does not require any external energy supply other than the abundant sun and, thanks to our special Energy Recovery System, is three time more efficient than conventional desalination plants.
