We’ve been talking to all stakeholders in the Virgin Islands market and have concluded that the high electricity prices and water tariffs ask for a solution. Many islanders share the vision that so-called ‘green’ energy can add to their future by step-by-step elimination of their reliance on expensive transported fossil fuels. Many tourists in these paradise-like surroundings agree that their impact should be reduced to a minimum. Besides that, who wouldn’t like to reduce their water bill? These are important drivers to choose for renewable energy driven desalination. We believe we will be back on the Virgin Islands to install a system soon.
